P.U.M.A. Kickboxing Code of Conduct
Kickboxing is a highly effective and practical method of self defence which must only be used when absolutely necessary and then only with sufficient force to repel any attack
Students are expected to bow to each other and the instructor during the course of the class, including a bow when entering the gym and leaving. They must obtain permission from the instructor to leave the gym.
Respect must be shown at all times to instructors and fellow students .
When training care must be taken to avoid accidents and you must show consideration to every one regardless of age, race, colour or creed
Eating is not permitted in the class, drinking is allowed at the discretion of the instructor. Kickboxing students may wear their belt when drinking. Students must always wear P.U.M.A. approved clothing, take care to keep toenails and fingernails cut. Jewellery is not allowed in the class for safety reasons.
Students will not be allowed to perform any form of sparring with out a valid licence and approved P.U.M.A. sparring equipment . Also students must wear hand wraps and bag gloves before they can strike a pad.
Gradings are at the instructors discretion.
All students must conduct themselves in a sportsman – like manner at all times. Derogatory remarks or bad language will not be tolerated.
